What's in a name
The motto of "Oportet Vivere" is a latin phrase meaning (roughly) "It behoves one to live". This motto comes from are the coat of arms for the Todd Family. The dominant motif on that coat of arms are three foxes heads which is a pun on the Middle English word "tod", meaning "fox".
